A standard installation of the Felicity battery with Solis inverter takes an average of 4 to 6 hours. This includes connecting to your solar panels, meter cabinet, complete configuration and testing the system. After installation you will receive a comprehensive explanation of the operation and use.

Yes, absolutely! The Felicity battery is modular and can be expanded up to 50 kWh. You can easily add additional battery modules later without having to replace the entire installation. The Solis S5 inverter fully supports these expansions.

The Felicity Generation 2 battery has a unique integrated fire suppression system. In the very unlikely event of overheating or fire, the fire suppression activates automatically and extinguishes the fire from within. This provides an extra layer of safety on top of the already very safe LiFePO4 technology. This makes the Felicity one of the safest home batteries on the market.

Yes! The Solis S5 inverter has a built-in EPS (Emergency Power Supply) function. During a power outage, the system automatically switches to emergency power mode and continues to supply power to your home via the battery. You can then continue to use important devices such as refrigerator, lighting and WiFi.

While the system is most cost-effective in combination with solar panels, it is not strictly necessary. You can also use the battery to store cheap electricity during off-peak hours (with dynamic energy contracts) and use it during more expensive hours. However, for optimal savings and faster payback period, we do recommend having solar panels.
